The Spiritual Five Singers (f. 1952) were organized in June of 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio. The group emerged from the Golden Star Singers of York, Alabama, that performed in the late 1940s. The original members of the Spiritual Five were, Johnny, Nathan, and Willie Yarbrough Sr., Willie Samuels and H.J. Wynn.
